Our process

Introduction

We start with an initial in-person or phone conversation to understand your objectives and confirm that our goals are aligned.

Pre–LOI

After signing an NDA, we exchange high-level business and financial information to evaluate the potential fit.

LOI

We prepare a Letter of Intent outlining key deal terms, including the purchase price and proposed structure.

Diligence

In this stage we conduct due diligence to validate financials and other key aspects of the business.

5

Close and management transition

The process concludes with the signing of the purchase agreement and the official closing of the transaction.

Meet the founder

Filip Tremac is the Founder and Managing Director of MACI Search Capital.

An entrepreneur with a background in mechanical engineering, Filip brings over a decade of professional experience across consulting, product development, and business leadership.

Before launching MACI Search Capital, Filip led product development and expansion for privately owned digital businesses in the UK. He began his career in consulting, working globally across the insurance, telecommunications, and healthcare sectors.

In 2018, he relocated to the UK to pursue an MBA, marking a transition from advisory to operational roles. Since then, he has worked with large tech companies, two industrial startups, and helped in acquisitions of small businesses—deepening his passion for entrepreneurship through hands-on experience.

Beyond business, Filip is a proud father of two daughters, a devoted husband, and a lifelong sports enthusiast—a passion rooted in his days as a semi-professional handball player.
